Tiger cowries have been prized as a decorative shell since Roman times and it’s easy to see why. This glossy shell is white underneath, with teeth-like serrations, and deep brown spots on top. Why is it called a tiger cowrie when it’s spotted not striped? We don't know! A must have, to an avid shell collector! These typically measure around 6cm long and 5cm wide. Colours and sizes will vary
