The Hovops spider is native to Madagascar, they are a very flat looking spider often camouflaging against bark and trees in their surroundings. Their females egg sacs can produce over 100 babies each time. The males can be identified by their enlarged pedipalps.

You can keep this species communally depending on the size of the enclosure, a fairly easy spider to handle as the speed isn’t up to the levels of a lot of true spiders.
