The salei are native to tropical rainforests in central and South America. A truly beautiful species with the females developing tiger stripes and colours on their legs, the males are a more dull brown colour lacking the patterns of the females but equally impressive with their leg span reaching up to 9cm. They hunt on trees, using ambush tactics choosing to hunt at night.
