PayPal
Payment is preferred by PayPal and this can be done online easily through the site when ordering.
Bank Payment
If you have a large order and want to pay direct through the bank, this is possible, please email info@bugzuk.com for details.
If you wish to use this option, especially if paying using a currency other than pound sterling, you must ensure that you cover the costs of the bank charges associated with the payment.

Postal Rates
UK Orders
We use Royal mail next day delivery by 1pm for parcels weighing less than 2kg. This is a signed for service.
We use Royal Mail CRL 24 for parcels over 2kg in weight, this service advises that parcels will arrive by 5.30pm next day, but it is not guaranteed.
All parcels are marked “fragile” and with a label advising "URGENT-LIVING CREATURES-HANDLE WITH CARE"
The postal charge for this UK orders is £9.50 for all orders, no matter what size the order is. This covers the cost of delivery and the cost of the packing materials. In cold periods a heatpack will automatically be added at cost.
We post to UK addresses every Wednesday and Thursday (arriving next day by 1pm if under 2kg) this generally includes all orders made and paid for by 3.00pm on the previous day, though, if we have time to check orders made at any time up to 10am on the day of posting, we will try to include those where possible... no guarantee!
Tracking numbers are provided when parcels are sent for delivery next day by 1pm. CRL24 post service does not offer a tracking service, but parcels should be delivered next day by 5.30pm and are signed for on delivery.
Stock Arriving Dead or Damaged
If stock arrives dead or damaged we will give a full refund for the value of the stock sent, but not for the postage costs.
If this occurs, which relates to about 2% of stock sent out, please advise us immediately by e mail that the stock has arrived dead or damaged together with a photo of the dead invertebrate.
We will then either refund for the dead stock, or, if another postage charge is paid, we will replace free of charge in the next post run where stock is available.
We will not entertain any claims for dead, dying or injured stock if not advised to us, with photographic proof, within 24 hours of being delivered.

We use Royal Mail international signed for post.
The postal charge for this area is £15.00 for all orders up to 2kg total weight. Please remember that cages and accessories can increase the weight considerably so be mindful of the 2kg top weight when ordering. This covers the cost of delivery and the cost of the packing materials. In cold weather a heatpack will automatically be added at cost and is included in the postage cost.
We post to these areas every Friday and will include all orders made and paid for by 4.00pm on the previous day.
Tracking numbers are provided when parcels are sent.
Where the weather is colder and requires a heat pack, this will be advised at the time of order.
If you expect the parcel,which is always sent on a Friday, to arrive at your destination after the following Tuesday , AND the temperature is expected to be less than 8 degrees in your country, you should think carefully whether you should be ordering livestock, as the heatpacks used only last 96 hours, after which, the parcel will have no added heat for the animals. We take no responsibility for loss of stock, it is entirely at your risk.
Stock Arriving Dead or Damaged
Stock is sent on the understanding that if the stock arrives dead on arrival, BugzUK will not replace or refund the cost of any dead animals. Buying stock is at your risk.
We take every care to ensure that stock is packed carefully so that it will survive the journey in the post, and most stock reaches its destination alive.
We also take no responsibility if stock is confiscated for any reason by customs, you will be given a tracking number for the parcel when the stock is sent so that you can track its progress.
Stocks, as ordered, are sent only on the understanding that you have read and understood the conditions shown above.
Orders to Rest of the World
Customs do not allow us to send to USA, Australia or New Zealand.
For invertebrates in USA contact Bugs in Cyberspace who are highly recommended.

Stock arriving immobile and cold
If this is the case, please follow the instructions below:
Unpack the box carefully.
Lay out the livestock carefully so that air can circulate around them.
Place the animals in a warm room 15 to 25 degrees C.
Do not place on radiators / heat pads etc.
Allow up to 4 hours for full recovery of the animal.
Most animals will recover fully if they are treated correctly on arrival.
