Care Sheet
This species is well known in the reptile and bug keeping world as a successful addition to enclosures. As they are very large, care should be taken to ensure that their tank mates are kept safe, providing enough food for all isopods and not pairing them with small animals. Isopods can eat other animals eggs and offspring so they are best kept out of breeding setups.
Isopod Care:
Temperature: 20-24°c
Humidity: 60-80%
Diet: Rotting wood, leaf mulch, calcium supplement, fish flakes, sweet potato, cabbage and courgette
Substrate: Leaf mulch, dried shitake, humus
