A fairly unique looking isopod with its prehistoric flattened well segmented body. A hardy species as they can cope with cooler temperatures.
Temperature: 15-26°c (room temperature works well)
Humidity: 55-70%
Substrate: organic top soil, plant growth, flake soil, limestone powder/crushed eggshells/cuttlebone mixed into substrate
Diet: Rotting wood, leaf mulch, calcium supplement (cuttlebone, calcium powder), sweet potato, courgette, fish flakes, lichen, dried river shrimp
Substrate: Leaf mulch, humus, plant growth, Earthworm casting
Add a colony of springtails to tackle any mould.
