The fasciatus are native to East Africa currently only sighted in Madagascar. They have beautiful striped legs which is why some people call them zebra leg spiders. They are expert predators due to their high intense speed and aggression when hunting.
Diet: Flies, crickets and mealworms
Housing: Arboreal vivarium at least 25cm in height
Substrate: Slightly damp layer of coir
Temperature: 22°c to 28°c
Humidity: 50 - 60%
Additional notes:
They are very very quick so care is needed when feeding or cleaning, keeping some cork bark works well as they can hide on it if they feel threatened.
